Paris in the Spring

Nothing beats Paris in the Springtime! Well, that’s my opinion, and that’s what this blog is all about; my opinion. I’ve just returned home after spending five days with friends in the “City of Light”, so-called because it was a place of enlightenment in the 18th century. It also claims that title because it was one of the first cities to start using street lights. People could now do things after dark that they were not able to do before. The city was safer and the population could go out at night and enjoy life. We did just that; of course, we were aware of the darkness of those terrible atrocities in recent months, we can never forget that, but we were able to enjoy ourselves, and I hope over the next few days to share with you some of my experiences in the city.
